ABS Feb Challenge - Blossom Necklace

Hello Lovelies,

This is very first time I am participating in an online challenge for beaders, Feb ABS Monthly challenge by Art Bead Scene. Usually these challenges provide some inspiration for participants for creating a piece of jewelry using art beads, colors to combine, materials to be used for making beads and the kind of objects can be used as art beads. Their purpose behind the challenges is to explore new ways to designs with art beads.

For inspiration, we had a watercolor painting by Edward and his twin brother Charles Maurice Detmol, a theme of spring - beautiful flowers and butterflies.

Blossom Necklace - I had this necklace created for a friend and have used fabric, wire, ceramic and glass beads together for various components, that would go with the challenge requirements. Ceramic beads are created by my sister Krushna, who is an Architecture student and ceramic artist by hobby. She creates ceramic beads, photo frames, show pieces at home.

The necklace does not include all the colors required for the challenge, though it relates to the theme painting. Apart from the ceramic beads, there are glass charms used as leaves with the ceramic donut flowers and a wire - enamel butterfly.

Lemme know how do you like them. :)

Cheers
Prakruti
