Filigree - Wire Jewelry Collection

India has a a rich culture of jewels and jewelry, most of them in form of Gold Jewelry, Silver Jewelry and Meenakari. And apart from these forms, we love Bollywood kinda jewelry, very colorful and bright. We hate dull colors. That's reflected in our home decor to a typical Indian Bride's traditional outfit. Where as if you create wire jewelry, it neither involve the perfect and kinda typical Indian designs nor they are much glittery.

Earrings to match with my casuals

Hello,

As you know, my craze for jewelry making started with a challenge to myself - to create jewelry that I can wear with some of my cool outfits. Here are few of the pieces I created for myself.

This one is to match a black dress with yellow polka dots. It created with glass beads and copper wire.

The blue multimetal pendulum made up of glass beads is one of my favorites. They are totally breathtaking when I wear and goes with many outfits.

And here comes another favorites of mine. (No need to say I am in love with all my handmade earring here and everything is my favorite!) These are made up of handmade lampwork beads and Czech glass beads combined with copper wire. The lampwork beads are purchased from an artisan I met during a jewelry show.

The long hammered wires tied with pink beads are made to match with my white silk top, that has pink lace on sleeves. The pink Czech glass beads used in the above and this one are from my mom's old collection.

The spring earrings were fun to create and fun to wear, too. The handmade lamwork beads are again from the same artisan I met at the jewelry show.I got some compliments about the cool design, but I am really afraid, they are not kinda sturdy. Please suggest some ideas about making them last.
And last, the shiny blue earrings are to match with my shiny blue dress for party!! It is made up with hammered copper wire and blue glass beads.

Hope you like them! Waiting  for reviews.
